Sony schematics, boardviews and BIOS

The catalog lists 205 Sony boards with 648 files: 93 boards have schematics, 11 have boardview files and 152 have BIOS dumps.

Sony VAIO boards carry an MBX-xxx number. The board itself was built by an ODM such as Quanta, Foxconn, Wistron or Inventec, whose code may also be printed on the PCB — files can be filed under either name.

In this catalog most Sony boards are identified by MBX-xxx board numbers and Quanta DAxxxMBxxx. Search by the code printed on your PCB if you are not sure which board your laptop has.
