Advertising Policy

ExcitingSpas.com is free to use. It is paid for by advertising served by Google AdSense. This page explains how ads are shown and what we do to keep them separate from the content.

Where ads appear

• Ads are shown on catalog pages (brands, boards, file types) and in repair guides.
• Ads are never placed on the legal pages (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms of Use, Disclaimer, DMCA), the About, Contact, Editorial and Advertising Policy pages, the search page, error pages, or board pages that list a single file with no description.
• On board pages, ads are kept away from the "Download" buttons so that nobody clicks an ad by mistake.

How ads are labelled

Every ad block is marked "Advertisement" and kept visually separate from the content. Ad spaces have a fixed height, so the page does not jump while an ad loads.

Separation from content

• Advertisers do not see, approve or influence guides or catalog listings before or after publication.
• We do not publish sponsored articles, paid reviews or paid links. If that ever changes, such content will be clearly marked as sponsored.
• Which ad you see is chosen by the ad network, not by us. We can block categories of ads and individual advertisers that are not appropriate for a repair site.

Personalised ads and your choices

Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. You can:

• turn off personalised ads from Google in Ads Settings;
• opt out of other participating vendors at aboutads.info;
• change your consent choices at any time through the privacy settings link at the bottom of the page.

Details are in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

Report an ad

If you see an ad that is misleading, offensive or does not work, please send us the page address and a short description through the contact page. We review reports and block the advertiser or ad category where appropriate.
