Asus schematics, boardviews and BIOS

Asus designs most of its laptop boards itself. Files are usually named by the model plus the main board revision (for example X540MB REV 2.0); board part numbers look like 60NB0IQ0-MB1100, where the first part is the board design and the tail is the configuration.

Asus boardviews are often .FZ files. Match the main board revision printed on the PCB, because the same model name can cover several revisions with moved parts.

In this catalog most Asus boards are identified by 60Nxxxxx part numbers, Quanta DAxxxMBxxx and Compal LA-xxxxP. Search by the code printed on your PCB if you are not sure which board your laptop has.
